Hello!
We’ve added a new workflow to Flowhub - cannabis lounges.
What is a cannabis lounge you ask? A cannabis lounge is a workflow allowed in certain states that allows customers to order and consume cannabis in a restaurant style setting. With this, a customer can place multiple orders to the “kitchen” and keep a running tab of the purchases.
With this workflow you can:
Add multiple customers to a table
Send multiple orders to fulfillment
Keep a running tab of a customer’s orders during their time at the lounge.
Here’s how it works:
1. Reach out to Flowhub to get the cannabis lounge setting turned on for your dispensary.
2. Check in a customer as normal, using Greet or through the Maui web app. Now, it's time to assign a customer to a table.
In the image below, we can see that Snoop Dogg and Seth Rogen are currently sitting at Table 1. Chelsea, Willie and Pedro are checked in, but have not been assigned to a table yet.
3. To add a customer to a table. Once a customer is in the queue, select the 3 dots next to their name, and select “Add to Table”. If a table is already opened, select the table name from the provided dropdown. If a table isn’t already opened, type the name in for the table. In the image below, I want to add Chelsea to Table 2.
4. After adding a customer to a table, their name will appear underneath the table. Select the customer to open their cart. Add items to the cart as normal. Once the order is ready, select “Send to Fulfillment”. The order will be sent to the attached receipt printer and added to the orders board as a Lounge order.
Only items in that specific order will be sent to fulfillment. If the customer has had previous orders sent to fulfillment, those items will still be displayed in the cart, but not on the order ticket.
5. The fulfillment budtender will fill the order, and can see the items on the order using the cart. The cart will tell the budtender how many items are in that specific order, and how many are part of the overall cart. Once the order is ready for the wait staff, mark it as ready.
6. Once the order has been taken by the waitstaff, mark the order as complete. We can see in the below image that Chelsea has 1 order that is ready to be sent to the table, and has one order waiting to be fulfilled.
7. Continue the ordering process until the customer is ready to check out, at which point payment can be collected as normal. Use the “bill” button to print a check for the customer.
8. The table will be closed when all customers on the table have been checked out.
